A brand-new 2,500-square-foot Starbucks has opened at the mixed-use property, which spans Clifton and Nutley, purchased by Prism Capital Partners nearly a decade ago, as first reported by NorthJersey.com.
The outlet says that the Starbucks is located off Route 3 and the main highway access road to Metro Boulevard.
The 118.7-acre property formerly home to Hoffmann-La Roche sits across both Clifton (67.39 acres) and Nutley (51.31 acres), according to an update on the project from Prism Capital Partners last July.
"The current commercial and academic occupants of the ON3 Campus believed in this vision, when they chose to locate at ON3 and they believed that the local government would support and approve this type of 'smart-growth' development," the 45-page document says.
"In order for Prism to remain successful in attracting additional commercial occupants it is imperative that we realize the completed vision of the ON3 Campus as a vibrant mixed-use, live, work, play and learn campus."
All of the vacant buildings on the campus have been leased, and include:
- Seton Hall/Hackensack Meridian Graduate School of Medicine
- Modern Meadow
- Ralph Lauren Corporation
- Quest Diagnostics
- Eisai Inc.
- Hackensack Meridian Health Center for Discovery and Innovation (CDI)
- Y-mAbs Therapeutics
A more than 260-room hotel Marriott AC Element Hotel with a rooftop bar was also approved for the campus at the Clifton-Nutley border.
In January, Prism said that Hackensack Meridian Health’s Ambulatory Care Center at ON3, was headed toward a November 2024 opening. Situated on the southeast corner of Metro Boulevard and Route 3 in Clifton, the 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will serve as the gateway to the award-winning mixed-use redevelopment.
